Building the Future of the Faith

Our mission is to provide long-term financial support to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, which will allow it to grow, vitalize, and sustain our Orthodox Christian faith in the Midwest. With the Foundation’s help, the Metropolis will have the resources to cultivate a Church that is dynamic, essential, and impactful for future generations to come. That future is one in which our parishes are growing; we joyfully care for the most vulnerable in society; and we offer thoughtful responses to challenges affecting humanity.

An endowment offers long-term, mission-guided asset management to provide financial security for the Metropolis and its parishes.

The Foundation structure ensures independent oversight, rigorous controls, and strict adherence to spending restrictions as well as state and federal regulations.
